Which KitchenAid Stand Mixer is Best?

I have been wanting a KitchenAid stand mixer for a long time, but I just don't know which version is the best. There are quite a few to choose from -- different size bowls, different wattage, et. cetera. I was wondering if the one with the "bowl-lifting" feature is a good choice. Do any of you ladies have a suggestion as to which would be the best one to purchase?
