Yesterday someone was asking if Alberti was gone as she hadn't seen him. I guess he wasn't on one day preparing for the show on Saturday in the Hamptons or some other place off site. I never get that concerned as I know they have vacations, prepping time, meetings, etc. I don't follow any particular host that much.

I didn't see the whole show this morning, but I saw a fair amount of it. I like David, but I enjoyed Jill as a host very much. I never really loved her personality, but she is an outstanding host. She totally sold me that coconut cake this morning. (yikes) I'm getting in Nov for my birthday.

I'm really glad it wasn't Carolyn as I cannot watch her on food shows. I'm sure she's a nice lady but as a host she is unpalatable with all the food cramming and spewing and talking with mouth full. It makes me feel queasy.

Yes, Kate, I think I'd pass out, too. I think Jill is a lovely woman. She's knowledgeable and professional, does her job very well. I wonder, though, if sales would lag if she'd just slow down a bit? Is it really necessary for them to talk so fast?

I think Jill is very good, a teachers personality to me. However she can sometimes be loud and a bit arrogant at times- " I designed it", through my guidance", nothing like applauding oneself! But I guess she did, so why not say it?! I also think the Sunday cooking show should vary the hosts, as a change is good.

Just when I think she is mellowing, gazelle says if David never returned, it would be no loss. I think QVC is happy with him because his cooking shows seem quite popular.
