So turnips - I have nothing for turnips. It's a veggie I often wonder about, what they taste like, how to fix them.  You must eat them since you tossed this one out here. 

I'm going to google someting to fix with turnips and be back.

Turnips - here goes:

3lbs turnips peeled and cut into french fries

Toss in a plastice bag with olive oil, parm cheese, garlic salt, pepper

Lay out on parchment paper cookie sheet & roast at 425degrees

Sounds very tasty, will try this myself.

I would put that sour cream on my carnita taco and toss you the lettuce.

I love turnips.   Dad taught us to eat them when we were little; he just peeled them, sliced them thin, sprinkled with salt, and we ate them raw.   My grandmothers peeled, diced, and cooked them with bacon or ham as a side dish---always served with cornbread.
