When does Jif plan to get product back on the shelves?

That's the question.

While in Aldi's the other day, I decided to try their brand peanut butter.  I was very pleasantly surprised how good it was.  So much so that I will be purchasing it again.

If you are near a Costco they have an Organic Peanut Butter.... two 28 oz jars for 9.99.... The only two ingredients are peanuts and salt.

It usually takes quite awhile.  Years ago there was a Peter Pan PB recall which was what I used.  I don't buy PB that often, but ended up having to try something else and that is when I change over to Reeses.  I do remember it taking many months thought for the Peter Pan to show back up on the shelves.  It doesn't seem to be a case of just going in and doing a good cleaning, and they also have to get the OK from the FDA.  Being a gov't agency, they're probably in no big rush.

It took Peter Pan Peanut Butter 6 months to return to stores when they had the salmonella incident in 2007.

I imagine as soon as they possibly can.

Costco's Kirkland brand peanut butter is great, I've tried it before. You do have to stir it which is a bit of a job, but once you do, you store it in the fridge and it doesn't separate.
