Re: When does Jif plan to get product back on the shelves?

Look at the size of those production areas. Cleaning would take forever. Then there would have to be another round of testing to be certain it was eradicated. This is not a simple fix. Finding the source will be most important.

YES, buy it at COSTCO or Trader Joes. Both have nothing but peanuts and salt-(also salt free) No added junky ingredients.

Re: When does Jif plan to get product back on the shelves?

I like the Teddy unsalted.  It's just dry roastd peanuts.  They have salted as well.

It is definately Not the same as jif or skippy type.

Does anyone know if you can bake with teddy type?  I haven't yet as I suspect the result just wouldn't be the same as using a skippy type.

Anyone know for sure?

Make your own in your Vitamix.  Surely you've seen the demo often enough to know how.

Hi Kachina... I would if I could but unfortunately I don't own a Vitamix.  They're a little too expensive, at least for me.

I do not know what brand this truck was carrying, but it burned while carrying 44,000lbs of peanut butter.  Happened in Illinois, on I-57 North, near Rantoul.  On June 16.

That is a lot of peanut butter!  That will for sure cause a temporary shortage to the area that truck serviced.

Ask the FDA and while you're at it, ask when baby formula is going to get back on the shelves.....it's a little more important than peanut butter.
