People get a high off of wearing their snit-fit panties. I wonder if they're like this in ""real life.""

Some people are just not happy unless they are putting someone else down, it gives them as sense of superiority. I don't find it necessary to be rude, opinion or not.

They have to be like this in real every day life. I don't think a person can come on here and be mean and rude and not be like that in there every day living. the ones who come on here that are kind and nice seem to be like that on every topic they post on. Don't know how this got posted like this.

I have done enough public speaking myself, and I would always get really nervous beforehand. So, I can only imagine what it must be like, doing it in front of a camera, knowing that you are being broadcast into millions of homes.
I think that the hosts have a really difficult job. They have to come up with descriptive and creative ways to try and sell a product. I don't think that it would be easy to do, in my opinion. I give the hosts and vendors a lot of credit for doing what they have to do.

Oh, my goodness! If you can't see the difference between opinion and bashing in that statement something is sadly wrong with your thinking.
That's not at all what I said. If you're going to refer to something that someone wrote, it's probably best to read it carefully and quote them directly. Here is my exact quote:
We're allowed to have opinions, and although I don't particularly like comments such as, "Jane looks fat in that dress and she's ugly", I have no issue with, "Jacque talks over the vendor all the time". That's an honest opinion, not bashing, and could potentially be of value to QVC.

To so grossly misrepresent what the poster stated is beyond irresponsible. This is bashing at its worst."Jane looks fat in that dress and she is ugly". Oh boy. And again with the getting a life mantra...
I usually like your posts and agree with you but QVC is a shopping network. The emphasis should be on the product and not the host or even the vendor. If one watches a person for hours at a time, it is inevitable that they will get on your nerves sooner or later.
I agree, the whole host-centric thing has gone too far... I suspect it's because of the narrow branding that's led to so much repetition of merchandise, so management wants us to focus on the hosts we supposedly like... The price to be paid, if customers watch too much, is they get tired of both the merchandise AND the hosts! And yes, familiarity breeds contempt... My own solution is to watch almost no QVC these days...

I am so sorry, NYC Susan ....I did read it wrong. Please forgive me. I will try to be more observant in the future. I feel awful. Again I am very sorry.

The anonymity of the internet brings out the nastiness in a lot of people. I've met people that I thought were the biggest jerks in the world online and they were the nicest people in person.
It's not even host bashing, it's self a self righteous attitude that I don't believe for a minute. To listen so some of the posters pick apart every post is laughable.
