Re: When Did You Last Do any "Baked Goods"?

Today I saw a QVC crumb cake and thought it looked delicious.  I found many recipes  online, and baked one.  It is delicious and looks as good as the one on TV.  I bake birthday bundt cakes for my family (19) and more than a few friends.  I like to cook, and have been doing so all of my life.  My late husband loved my food.  Now I eat too much of it, but it is a creative outlet and provides me with many gifts to share. . .

Re: When Did You Last Do any "Baked Goods"?

I baked coconut cookies last Sunday and I made brownies with chocolate frosting a few weeks before.

I try to keep myself from eating these goodies, but it's so hard. I mostly bake for DH tho .

I am in the 17th  month of calorie counting, and very near the end, so I don't intend to back track in spite of the tiny nibbles I take.

It's been a long haul, and I take it seriously.

Major baking - last year holiday season.

Recently, when my granddaughters were visiting, I made chocolate chip cookies and brownies. Oh, and I had so many blueberries, I made a Blueberry Kuchen - delish.

I'll probably make a pumpkin bread in the near future.

I used to bake cookies or brownies weekly when my sons were young.  Anymore I don't keep baking supplies in stock.  If I really get a craving for a dessert I buy a single portion.  My husband likes Costco's bakery cookies and ice cream.

That sounds nice, but I am not a fan of cereal.

We live in apple country, Gerber used to have a baby food factory here, and DH does this.  It's really good if it has a lot of apples.

Unless it's a holiday, I don't have flour in the house.

Not cereal.  Excellent crunchy, strudel like topping.

@CatsyCline   Her reply doesn't make any sense either.
