We're doing our version of a charcuterie plate for lunch today (baked ham slices rolled up, string cheese, celery, mini peppers, grape tomatoes, pickles, kalamata olives) plus a few pork rinds and Mateo salsa.

I've had a pot roast in the oven since 1 pm and I don't know who's more distracted by it, me or the dog, lol.

I'm serving it with mashed yukon potatoes and sauteed broccolini.

Cool and cloudy out. Time for a comfort meal. Italian sausage in sauce with green peppers in the slow cooker. We'll have them in bomber buns with mozzetta & provolone cheese. Baking fries in the oven. Watermelon & canteloupe for dessert. I hope you have had a nice day!

Good evening everyone. Sunny in the low 80s. Still to warm for me but after tomorrow next 10 days in the low 60s. Mini muffins for breakfast. When I get up there quick an easy to grab a package after I feed the dog a get my ice coffee I had already poured when I got up the first time at 2 am when ria got up for work. I pour her drinks for work, take the dog out do a couple things then go back to bed for a few more hours. For lunch I had last of the pasta I made last week and I made a pasta Alfredo then it went in the oven for just a little while to melt the mozzarella cheese and brown it and fruit and a few chetoes for snack. It's a grey and kinda dismal day out there, raining and it won't let up until late afternoon/early evening.  We have hair appointments this afternoon and have to make a couple of other stops.  Lunch will be steak salad w/bleu cheese dressing.

@cusegirl Can I ask...what are salt potatoes?  I am intrigued.

@spumoni99, salt potatoes are tiny potatoes that come with a bag of salt. You boil the potatoes and add the bag of salt. I only use a very small amount of the salt. You pour melted butter over them after you drain them. I thought everyone knew what they were but they must be a regional thing.
