Today I made cheesy scrambled eggs with toast for breakfast, a chicken cutlet sandwich with pistachios for lunch, and roasted potatoes for dinner.

Good evening everyone. Beautiful day around 80. I still.put air conditioning on. Gets not on the second floor. Mini blueberry muffins for breakfast, Ria was working late so I told Anna not to cook because ria said tell her not to cook.at lunch time I was cleaning and I poured another ice coffee and had some pepperoni. We ordered from the 99 restaurant, enough for a couple meals. And I cut up.four pounds of strawberries and added two packs of blackberries added sugar and water and chilled it. We had some after dinner and a dessert each that ria got from then restaurant. I finally finished decorating for holloween. We have a 6foot black upside down holloween tree with purple lights. Putting it up and together can be irritating.. Its totally top heavy so when o put the 3 prices together and tried to stand it up with the weight on top trying to stand it up I fell backwards into the wall. I didn't get hurd. I did plenty of swearing getting tree done but I was so glad when I got decorated. House was a mess and I cleaned the house today. Looks good now. Have s great rest of the weekend everyone.

After almost four years of being the default chef for my entire family every Sunday, I got tired of last minute changes and cancellations. Everyone expected I would cook for a crowd and they could join us if it was convenient.

Well, this past spring I put an end to that. I told the kids that we were having breakfast for dinner every Sunday evening unless they spoke to me by Wednesday and said they'd be coming.

Spoiler alert.... no bookings since then. Apparently it's just not convenient to have to commit. So, tonight DH and I are having western omelettes, homefries and bagels.

Today I am trying out a new recipe for a marinade using harissa and many other spices added to it--tried it on chicken breast which was amazing. This time I put it on pork loin chops. Will cook up some brown rice to go with. And have other fresh veggies as well.

We had Chinese, and brought lots of leftovers home. I had General tso's chicken, and SO had sesame shrimp. It's a beautiful day here.

Good evening everyone. We had muffins for breakfast. We had lunch with my mother in law Anna. She made escarole with beans with Italian bread, fried breaded chicken cutlets, eggplant, and French fries and grapes and tonight I had leftovers from food we got from the 99 restaurant yesterday and ria just had fruit. It was in the low 80s today. It was nice out.have a great night everyone.
