Re: Whats cookng in october?

Making a beef stir fry tonight.  Usually feeds us a few meals.  I have some Granny Smith apples to use up, so will have them sometime today or tomorrow.

Re: Whats cookng in october?

I have leftover roast beef, so we are having hot roast beef sandwiches with mashed potatoes and gravy and fresh green beans with butter and garlic. It is pouring here today, supposed to rain all day. Have a great day everyone.

Re: Whats cookng in october?

Oven baked chicken wings with bbq sauce & baked acorn squash. Tossed salad & pumpkin bread with ice cream scoop for dessert. DH came home with a pumpkin pie flavor ice cream!

@JeanLouiseFinch ... I hear you about the "treasures" that turn up when cleaning out the freezer! Wow, I finished doing ours plus the kitchen pantry also. Going to be more mindful going forward.

Everyone have a good day. Can't believe we are almost into November!

I gave trucker daughter 2 options; kielbasa with onions and peppers or boneless pork ribs.  She chose hot dogs with homemade chili and slaw, and onion rings!  OK then!

We are having pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, and peppers tonight with a small salad with balsamic vinaigrette and bleu cheese crumbles. Cold, windy and off and on rain here today. Have a great day all.

I pulled some ribs out of the freezer and am letting them thaw.  I'll season them later and let them hang out in the fridge until it's time to cook them tomorrow.

For our lunch today, I'm using the leftover tri-tip on a salad.
