We almost went to a vendor fair today but decided against it while having our coffee this morning. There's really nothing I need, and knowing me I'd buy something spontaneously that I don't need either. Plus tomorrow we're going to a "zoo boo" event with our son's family and out for a bite to eat afterwards. DH & I have been on the go a lot this month and more things (appointments, concerts, a lunch date) still on the calendar besides all the holidays and prep for them, so today has turned into a day of relaxing and college football.
Lunch will be DIY charcuterie, a little cottage cheese or zero sugar yogurt, and a few pork rinds with salsa.

@JeanLouiseFinch The Nelon plane crash was so sad. Autumn has to have so much faith and strength. I bought a few cds after hearing you talk about their concert. So sad.
We had chicken salad sandwiches and coleslaw last night. Tonight I'm going to make a meatloaf, mashed potatoes and fresh green beans with slivered almonds.

Good afternoon everyone. Beautiful out in the 50s. We ordered food last night from RRed Robin. Ria had a few errands to do this morning so she picked up breakfast from Wendys. For lunch Anna made Chicken Wings string bean and potato salad, artichokes, oven roasted potatoes, mashed potatoes, homemade apple pie and grapes. For tonight we ordered an extra meal each last night for tonight.everyone have a great week .

It's chilly here this week. I made tuna-noodle casserole with cheese on top and baking powder biscuits. Bought pumpkin donuts for dessert.

We had a marvelous time at the zoo yesterday. The weather was beautiful. Normally we go to a much bigger zoo but this smaller one was just right for the grandkids to stay engaged and have fun, and it not be an all day affair. The dressed up and collected some candy. We fed a giraffe, had a little train ride, and took the carousel ride with them. They each got to choose a stuffed animal in the gift shop, to add to their own toy zoo at home! Our little grandson chose a dinosaur so he kept making faces and roaring. LOL He's all boy and takes after his daddy. We ate at Texas Roadhouse, which seems to be our family go to with them lately. Everyone seems to like it. Our 4 yr. old granddaughter ordered mini cheeseburgers but opted for a salad with ranch instead of fries. Mommy took out the parts she didn't like so it was pretty much lettuce, cheese, croutons, and salad dressing. The salad itself was sizeable for a side item and she nearly ate all of it. She ate less of the cheeseburgers.
Today I'm chillin' and will catch up on a few movies. I have to use up the remaining Black Forest ham so we're just going to have ham & cheese omelettes and roasted Brussels sprouts.

We had pizza and salad last night. I pulled some bean soup from the freezer. Might be soup and salad tonight. Some biscoff cookies for a snack.
