Good evening everyone and happy Halloween🎃.  Another warm day in the high 70s.they said up here this is the second warmest Halloween on record. We usually make a bunch of appetizers and stuff like that but I had an MS nerologist.appointment at 540. Doctor had me come in at 300. So we ordered Mexican food for tonight and tomorrow night. Yestauday I made double catch of peanut butter cookies and chocolate chip cookies. 157 cookies all together. Ria took some to work and she took some to her former bus yard she was at .we kept some cookies here for us to. We had a big bjs wholesale club order get delivered today. Have a great night everyone.

I hope every one had a nice Halloween. I made pork chops with parsley fried potatoes and a cucumber salad. 

We did not get any trick or treaters here.The houses are far apart plus the kids that were in the neighborhood are teens or grown up.

Since summer is finally over we can now come out of our caves and enjoy the weather until next May. We do a fair amount of cooking on our Ooni oven. This weekend we are making fajitas.

Best day and meal ever - Thanksgiving. I love preparing this meal, it is so good. The aroma that exudes from my kitchen with the turkey in the oven is like none other. It warms my house and my heart to do this meal even if now it's only me and my husband.

I was a little behind putting up our outdoor decorations this year, so DH picked up some fried chicken for dinner to give me more time to get ready for the trick or treaters. It's supposed to get cooler here today, so I'm making spaghetti and sausage tonight. I'll be getting my comfort food recipes out any day now.

SOUPS!!!!!!!! Made a really easy good mushroom one recently.. Can't get enough soups it seems. I made a delicious --mushroom risotto in my pressure cooker last night for dinner--so easy and so yummy. Made a super easy lasagna type casserole using filled raviolis--wow was that good too..Will bake up a pumpkin and banana wacky cake for an upcoming card party as well as the ravioli thing I just made. Also roasted a sweet spud then mashed it with butter, a bit of brown sugar and added pumpkin pie spices and a splash of oatmilk---that was amazing too!

Happy November Everyone!

We had a fun Halloween with our two youngest grandchildren.  We're still pet sitting for our DD and DSIL.  We'll pick them up tomorrow night.

Today, my lunch is a Tiffany plate with chicken apple sausage, a boiled egg, cottage cheese, and some raw veggies.  I brought a small salad and some Chobani zero sugar yogurt but I think this plate will fill me up.

Welcome November and the time for warm, comforting meals! But I ran out of time today after errands and an eye doctor appointment so DH is picking up pizza. I did pull together a decent salad.

Halloween was fun. Very windy and cool here but we had a nice turn out of cute little trick or treaters. Have a nice evening!
