Feei better soon! Seems like so many have colds right now.

Your take -out dinners sound delicious. We also don't have many small eateries here but quite a few chain restaurants.

Re: Whats cooking this november?

Breakfast for dinner tonight. Banana walnut pancakes, scrambled eggs & bacon & sausage. Hot cocoa or tea.

We were leaning towards pizza but decided to save that for Sunday's Packer game.

Have a wonderful day!

@MOMMAVik

The only chain restaurant we have is Bojangles. I'm not sure where else they're located, I know we didn't have them in California.

That's it, except for the few small privately owned ones in town.  They're all good, but some aren't open on Sundays, and some are closed Monday/Tuesday, lol.  We're also the only county in North Carolina that doesn't have a McDonald's.

Hope you get over your cold quickly. It seems like when 1 of our grandbabies gets a cold....we all come down with symptoms.

For dinner tonight we are having Chinese Almond chicken and chow mein noodles. I don't make this very often, so it's a 50-50 shot it will not be repeated. Lol.

Re: Whats cooking this november?

Fend for yourself night here on fridge leftovers.  My family can choose from fish, hush puppies and slaw, brown beans and cornbread, spaghetti, or ribs and potato salad.

Re: Whats cooking this november?

All the meals today sounds really good especially since we had leftovers!

@house_cat  I hope you and your GD feel better.  So many colds and sinus issues are going round here which the weather makes them worse.

Have a good evening everyone!

We had leftover sloppy joes and home fried potatoes
I also made two of house_cats easy apple cakes yesterday morning, one for us , one I shared with a friend we do business with
I got a thank you text last night saying how delicious it was and how much they enjoy it , thank you again house_cat for posting the recipe I’ll be having a piece for breakfast soon

Enjoy your weekend everyone

Re: Whats cooking this november?

We have a couple of local errands to do this morning, and will check out a local vendor fair, but we'll be home by 11:00 so DH can park himself and watch college football. It doesn't bother me. He works hard all week and is good to me.

Lunch today:

Crack Chicken

Small Tossed Salad

Green Beans

Chia Pudding W/Fresh Strawberries
