Potato soup, salad and some cherry fluff. It's chilly here too. A dusting of snow, under an inch. Brrrr.

What a blessed time we had lastnight. We always enjoy the music and visiting with the C-fam.
Yesterday morning I noticed one of my hearing aids wasn't working. I managed ok for the evening but have an appointment to see my audiologist this afternoon. I can see that my wire needs replacing. I'm not rough or careless with them. The wires break from time to time, and it's always when it's inconvenient. Plus the audiologist has two offices so I have to take that into account when making an appointment. They're always good to get me in, though.
After the appointment (takes all of five minutes), we have a bunch of grocery shopping and a couple other errands to do. We'll be out for quite awhile.
Lunch today -
Bacon
Pizza Omelets
Steamed Broccoli

Turkey tetrazzini and cole slaw. I made enough for leftovers. It's very cold and windy. Have a good weekend!

DH and I were out for a long time yesterday afternoon. It was so awful outside- windy and frigid. My audiologist is an hour away, to begin with. We stopped in town, to drop something off at the post office because I missed getting it in my box before our carrier came by. I saw a line of seven people and said, "forget it". I put my package in my own box when we got home. I had a prescription to pick up, but the Walgreens pharmacy was closed when we got there. They close for a lunch break every day and we just missed getting there in time. One of us will run up there today. There were lots of other stops. I had to get some Visa and Mastercard gift cards so we stopped at Walmart. The particular Walmart is one that I despise, it's usually a mess in there and I feel dirty shopping there. However, the other two Walmarts in the vicinity were another 20 minutes or so farther away so we just went to the junkie one. We were both pleasantly surprised that they actually cleaned the place up, so it wasn't so bad. I was so cold when we got home that I put on one of my Cuddl Duds knit loungewear sets, with a long sleeve tshirt underneath, and a long fuzzy robe on top, thick fuzzy socks to warm my feet. My circulation isn't the best so I get cold easily.
Our son and the grandkids are coming today. I'm planning to make Chicken Parmesan and roasted cauliflower. Maybe a green vegetable too.
I have a big pork loin thawed, to make pulled pork today. It may be too big for my slow cooker so I might make half today and half tomorrow. We're having that at our family Christmas get together, so I'm just getting a jump on it and will have it ready in the freezer.
ETA - I cut the pork loin in half and got both pieces to fit. I'm cooking them for 8 hrs. on low, to start, but will extend the time as needed until the meat is ready to shred..

No, @Hoovermom, it's disgusting and makes you want to puke. I'm kidding, of course.
I vacuum seal and freeze the pulled pork without sauce or gravy. I'll take the meat out to thaw, warm it slowly in my slow cooker. I'll serve it like that but with gravy and bbq sauce on the side, so people can choose and have the amount they want.
I will make the gravy today and freeze it too, until I need it.
