@lynnie61 Yum! Pecan Kringle is really good! I hope you & your sister & bil enjoy it.
DH is at his fishing club seminar this afternoon. I am making myself breakfast for dinner. Slicing up a baked potato to pan fry. An omelet with cheese & veggies and half a bagel with cream cheese & lox.
With the egg prices going up by the day we have been trying to conserve a bit. Honestly, I think they are a healthy part of our diet so we will continue to buy them.
Have a good day everyone.

Wow February all ready!
My son smoked some wings and brought us some. I made us salads and brownies.
It's been warmer for us and after Tuesday it's back in the 30's. I am off all week which I'm so happy for and have a list of things I want to do. DH has a couple of appointments as well.
@Pooky1 I hope you feel better @lynnie61 I am glad your BIL is doing better. This winter has been rough for so many. My five year old GS has had a fever and cough and they are just trying to keep him away from the baby.
Have a good evening everyone!

Good morning everyone. We got like 3 inches of snow last night. Just had eggo blueberry waffles. Anna made for lunch yesterday broccoli and cauliflower, chicken parm, roasted red peppers, leftover peas and fresh crunchy green grapes and last night I had leftover quesadillas and ria didn't ant anything. Have a great day everyone.

Good morning! Would you believe, we’re expecting a high of 58* today? That’s crazy. It’ll be cooler the rest of the week with a few inches of snow predicted, but then some rain in there too and temps around 40* that I don’t think the snow will last. Time will tell. Then next week it gets real cold again.
The steak tips and chimichurri sauce were good - a little peppery but I didn’t mind. The meat, during the processing, was cooked via a sous vide method. Basically I just browned it a little and added the sauce that came in a separate packet. The meat was very tender. I’d buy it again, maybe even check out some other offerings from this brand.
The plumber will be here today regarding the fireplace gas pipe alteration. I hope he can do the job so we can move forward sooner than later.
DH will fend for himself today. I’m fasting until lunch tomorrow.

Making grilled chicken salads tonight for us. I might make some garlic bread. I have a peach berry pie (will take some to my dad). We don't need a whole pie!
@JeanLouiseFinch Near 60 for us today!

I made a new recipe, "creamy crock pot ravioli and spinach". It was very good and thankfully, very easy because I was running around all day and didn't have time to fuss.
