Good evening everyone and happy Halloween what's left of it.  This year is really flying by. It poured last night into this morning and has gotten really windy. I got up the second time and fed the dog and made me oatmeal. For lunch last of apple pie. Repair guy took our oven door back this afternoon fixed and spotless cleaned it. Gave the dog a bath and washed her beds.I made a white cake for Halloween. I baked it downstairs in Anna's oven. I made cream cheese frosting and I was going to color frosting orange except when I got out food coloring I had yellow but no red so frosting was wite. Ria use to make a ton of food for Halloween but with her schedule we ordered food from Greg's restaurant. Ria got 18 sick calls today and on her way home she saw a bus from her company dropping of kids without there red flashing lights on so she followed the bus Until it was stopped and talked to the driver about red flashing lights has to be used. Have a great night everyone.

We had delightful weather for Halloween this year.  It's always so unpredictable.  There have been many that were chilly, damp, and windy.  We've even had snow once or twice when our kids were young.

I bought a new egg poaching pan that arrived Thursday.  I might have to try it out this morning,

DS and the kids are coming over later for ribs.  This morning I'll make some KF cornbread to go along with it.  I'll probably make broccoli for our vegetable.

Re: Whats cooking in november?

I am attempting to make my first loaf of bread in quite a while. Also planning to roast veggies for a pot pie try.

This cooking day may work tremendously well... or I may be grocery shopping later today for something to eat for dinner. 🤣👩🏻‍🍳

I went to a funeral memorial tonight.  Angel hair, chicken and salad.  It was good and a nice visit with the family.

Re: Whats cooking in november?

Our poached eggs were good, I'm making more this morning.  The ribs were so tender.  I made a double batch of the KF cornbread muffins so DS went home with enough leftovers for another meal for his family.

DH and I are going to a holiday market/artisan fair this afternoon and have a couple of returns to do while we're out.   We'll be eating random findings from the fridge today, to make our own charcuterie plates.

Tonight I am making sandwich steak with peppers and onions on ciabatta bread and a salad with Italian dressing and bleu cheese crumbles. Sunny and cool here. Have a great day everyone.

Tonight, I will be making prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, with tomatoes and basil, drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar on muffelatta round rolls.

I enjoy this sandwich so much.
