Last cool day for a while ... Making chicken parmesan over angel hair pasta, garlic bread and steamed green beans. Sugar free pudding with a dab of whipped cream for dessert.

I feel sorry for those of you dealing with the terrible heat & humidity. Try to stay cool as best as you can. Everyone have a good evening.

I made brats, corn on the cob, blueberries, strawberries with a little plain yogurt.  I just had the berries and yogurt.

Yesterday, we had a lovely meal with my mother-in-law. She made roasted chicken with potatoes.

We had steak salads tonight.  Yum.

Our weather was perfect yesterday and today.  Hope the 96-98 stays away. Supposed to storm on the 4th.

Your dinner sounds delicious too!  The good thing about making a big crockpot of soup beans means there always leftovers lol.  We'll be having them again tonight too.😃❤️

It's a beautiful day here - sunny, warm, not humid. I woke up early and the dog wanted to go out before dawn.  I could barely see him down by his spot.  I went out with just my thin nightgown on and was perfectly comfortable out there.  

DH and I had hair appointments yesterday and stopped for a few groceries while we were out.  I just washed the berries and they're drying before a put them in their storage jars.  

I have some food prep to do today for tomorrow.  We're having breakfast for lunch:

Bacon

Eggs

Roasted Asparagus 

Low Carb French Toast w/Irish Butter and KF Syrup

Pinto and great northern beans mixed are in the instant pot now, cornbread, onions and chow chow for us tonight.

Going to happy hour with two other couples tonight.
probably have chopped salads or pasta! There will be wine!
