@Mindy D   All I can tell you is that the largest pan and the largest pot I have are both CE.   My problem with both is that they are heavy even before I add food.  

 

I no longer use either enough to give them kitchen space. but I also don't want to donate them because I know they're more than 20 years old and I'm not at all sure anyone should be using them.

i would say at least 25 years old.....probably more.

Who remembers that far back?  Much longer than 25 years.  My CE was old when I moved here 25 years ago.

I thought that the stainless steel nonstick sets that you can use metal utensils with were new around 2001 or so. These sets were selling out like hot cakes back then. They were extremely popular with many sell outs and TSVs.

I didn't know there were previous products.

they did get a trademark for the line in 1998, but i dont know how much further back it goes?

I bought so many pots and pans from CE and I still have them. Still look great because I never used the same peice twice a week. That's how many I have. I don't remember the year.

 

I really miss Techinque also. Sometimes I wonder why I needed so many pieces. I've also given away some over the years.
