Re: What's on your Xmas list ?

[ Edited ]

We both just bought the new iPhone 12 so that's about it for us. We

( change that to I ) buy stuff all year. If I do see stuff on sale I will buy it but right now I don't need anything.

Re: What's on your Xmas list ?

There is nothing on mt Christmas list. My DH fell out of bed this summer and had a slow brain bleed. In September he had bilateral bore hole brain surgery to drain the blood. Thanks to a gifted surgeon and lots of therapists he is almost back to normal.  DH is stubborn and even though things looked funny he would not go to the doc until I made him.

I have my hubby and there is nothing else I could ever want or need.

Amen! DH is a slow learner, 2 years in a row he bought me something for the house.

Girl, get his charge card and go buy what you want. Never leave it up to a man.  Back 100 yrs. ago when I was engaged, my now husband asked me what I wanted and I said demure like "Oh , nothing , I don't need nothing".   You know what I got ? Just that a big ol' NOTHING.

He's made up for it , though, now. I get something good for b'day and Christmas because I walk in the jeweler and order. LOL

Birthday , is 12-23.   Year not available.

Ohhh... that's funny @SharkE . The demure approach never works for me, either!

DH has made up for it! Now,  I go to the jewlery store, pick out what I like. Then when DH goes, he directs him to what he "thinks I may like". It's a win win.... I get what I love, DH feels as though he picked it out, and the jeweler certainly doesn't complain!

And I'm a fellow Capricorn, @SharkE . We need to get started on birthday lists, too!

Gift I got ordered, waiting on the call to approve whether or not I'm gonna like it , is a gold bracelet. Triple link 14 kt , not quite 10 grams of gold. Hope it's as pretty as the picture in their catalog. Will send pic when I go to my other computer.

By the way, birthday girl, this gift I've been warned is for B'day, Xmas and Valentine's Day.  I came back with , but, not Anniversary. LOL

(Anniversary is 1-29)  hahhha He went

Anybody wanting anything kitchen related ? jewelry related ?

@SharkE Since I'm a vintage jewelry dealer I'm tempted everyday but manage to mostly hold back lol.  I am curious about the upcoming Le Creuset TSV though. You?

Have no idea what that will be, sure, with all the lovers of Le Creuset we will know soon.  I got the stoneware 9x13 'roll' pan what I use it for. All I have of it.

I can't think of anything.  We just bought a Tv and washer.  Been repairing our house after August storm.  Just updated all outside lights and wanted those for a bit.  Looks so nice.

On!y thing I can really use is a new clock radio for my side of the bed.

I pretty much have all I need at the moment and buy for myself as I shop for others.  Tell my husband I could use one of those for Christmas and he says order.

He always buys me something special that I normally would not buy myself and surprises me.

All is good.

Speaking of clock radios.  I've been using one that I received as a gift in 1978.  LOL

Last year I bought a new one because I thought I might as well join the next century.  Well, It's so modern that I'm having a hard time figuring out how to use it.  I think I'll rely on my iphone instead.

I don't want any jewelry or kitchen items.  No lotions or potions, candles or chotskies.  I just want to be able to see my kids and grandkids like I used to do.

I just bought the 12 pro as well.  I think my request for this year will be the expensive case that I want.

Re: What's on your Xmas list ?

Nothing for me---I get whatever I want or need all the time.

But you know maybe there is one big, huge, thing I want, now that I think about it and it is so cliche-------

I WANT PEACE AND GOOD HEALTH ON EARTH!!!!!!

Re: What's on your Xmas list ?

check out Bed and Bath with coupon if you have to  have a  KA.

I don't like them myself. Quality has long since left.

I got  one  at  Q and it was damaged sent it  back to KA they  sent me  the box and paid the return postage. 2nd  one  I got wasn't set right and had scratches on  it, sent that  one back and forgot about it. Got my money refunded from QVC. They did stand behind it.

Depending on  your  budget I'd go with Cuisinart.   I like SMEG's the  best, but, that's pricey now over 500.

I  got a  KA mini and I  had to fight with getting the beaters on and off it was always a wrestle match. I tried to sell  it, ended up throwing it in a closet.
