@RedTop

I am sorry to read you got a bad burn. Ouch. Hoping you heal quickly and the pain is soon diminished. Take care.

We had grilled teriyaki steak, chow mein noodles with veggies and grilled asparagus for an early dinner tonight. Have enough left for lunch tomorrow. I may just toss it all together as a cold salad, but dh may have other ideas. 😀

☀️🎶 🌷 It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood...🌷🎶 ☀️

DH is doing fine.  He took it easy yesterday, but was antsy so he spent some time outside piddling around.  He needs to call the NP's office for an appointment to remove the staples later this week.  Our Chicken Caesar Salad was especially good too.

Today we're pulling random stuff from the fridge - hard cooked eggs, hard salame, cheese, mini peppers, celery sticks, cukes, etc.  I'm also going to make some low carb tortilla chips and we'll use them with some spinach artichoke dip.

Herb roasted chicken breasts, scalloped potatoes and green beans are tonight's dinner. Fresh strawberry shortcake for dh's dessert.

Roasted chicken from the grocery store, some carrots and asparagus. Maybe a scoop of ice cream later.  ❤️. It was absolutely gorgeous out today.

Made macaroni salad for  SO, I'm not a big fan, but he really likes it.  He can eat......He's so thin, he needs the calories.  Adds it for snack or his lunches.

Chicken strips, with hot sauce for DH, the rest of the Cole slaw and I roasted asparagus in the air fryer for me.
Our grandson had a baseball game, they lost but they had fun which is what it's all about.
Heading to bed soon to repeat the work day again.  It was another beautiful day!

Last night we had whole wheat spaghetti (still trying to use up food from the pantry) with tomato sauce and salad.

Tonight we are having steak fajatas.

Re: 🌷What's cooking this month of April?🌷

Good morning everyone. Yestauday was sunny and it made it up to 75. I had leftover fried cauliflower for breakfast. I didn't have lunch other than a couple fortune cookies because this week with school vacation ria was home early by 215. They only had a few bus run go out. That's why I didn't have lunch I made chicken pasta and spinach meal all made in one pan. It was called Tuscany chicken pasta. It was very good. I put my plant trays I planted 12 days ago to get good sunlight. I bought heavy clear plastic made for plants to get that green house  environment for young plants. I prepped today's dinner at 430 this morning. Peach pecan French toast. It had to sit for 8 hours or overnight so custard could set onto the callah bread. I need to take it put of the fridge for a half hour and bake it on 400 degrees for 20 minutes then flour,brown sugar, cinnamon and butter topping add it to the baking dish and bake for 10 more minutes. I will give an update on it when we eat it tonight. It looked and smelled good when I prepped it. Have a great day everyone.
