Tonight I am making shrimp linguine with lemons except I don't have any linguine but I do have some whole wheat spaghetti.  I am trying to use up things that we have in the pantry and freezer and we have a lot of frozen shrimp.

We ended up with extra firecracker shrimp, so I am going to make a Shrimp Louie salad as I have all the ingredients in the house.

We are supposed to get a bit of sun this weekend. I am looking forward to better weather.

Taco salad for us tonight.  I had some of the frozen meat from last time we had it. DH kind of complained he's had salad for supper two nights in a row😂

@MOMMAVik  oh wouldn't that be nice if we all could get together?  We sure wouldn't be hungry💕

@Shihtzursqmom  Ive been thinking of you.  Your little Princess was blessed to have you and your DH.  She was certainly loved. 
We lost our two dogs last year eight months apart, there are days I just silent cry for them.  It leaves a void in your heart.  Sending you gentle hugs💕

We had leftover angel hair, and I made a great chopped salad.  Spring mix, cukes, olives, a little shredded cheese.  I love wonton strips on mine. Honey French dressing.  Yum!  

Pineapple chunks for dessert.  For canned fruit in a light syrup, it was really so good and sweet.  Have a great weekend!

Tonight our grandson had a baseball game so I came home washed up , opened the refrigerator, set out leftover taco meat , lettuce, which I shredded , salsa , nacho cheese sauce, taco cheese, diced green onions , sour cream, and opened a bag of tortilla chips supper was ready in a matter of minutes
We made it to the ball Game on time
Unfortunately they lost but someone has to

Thank you 2 sisters I’m sorry about your dogs also , they bring so much love into our lives , it’s so hard to loose them they are family
I woke up this morning around 3 and was trying to go back to sleep I could have sworn I heard her bark in the LR it seemed so real I guess she was on my mind

Today is a busy day.  Our house is has stucco that is failing so we are having the stucco removed and we are putting up Hardie Board siding.  It will be quite an extensive and expensive undertaking.  Windows may need to be replaced and we are also getting a new front door, a portico over the side door and new lighting.  This morning DH and I are going to a few lighting stores to pick out the new lights.  

Then later this afternoon I am getting a pedicure.  After I will stop by Kohl's to shop at the Sephora in store as I need some JVN Instant Recovery Serum. 

Tonight we are going out for dinner to an Italian restaurant.  I am not sure what I will order but they have a baked manicotti and a mushroom agnolotti that look good.  For an appetizer I love their whipped ricotta that is topped with a balsamic drizzle and served with grilled bread.

Replacing your siding is a huge undertaking, but I am sure you will be so relieved and happy when it is complete. Are you going with a new color too?

I have to say your appetizer of whipped ricotta on grilled bread makes me wish an Italian or Greek entree was on our menu for dinner. But the dh wants a grilled burger with jalapeños and pepper Jack cheese for dinner. And fries...the man wants fries again. Since he barely eats more than one meal a day, I try to give him what he wants. I just don't care for how the house smells after I fry anything.

It's sunny but still a little chilly this morning. DH and I will be walking soon.  Later on, it's supposed to make it to 70*.  We were supposed to go to our grandson's hockey game but we got blown off for dinner, so we're going to pass. DD and DSIL got their wires crossed.  He made dinner plans with friends while DD and I were working on something.  The rink is a minimum 45 minute drive each way and the game doesn't last long. It seemed like a lot of rigmarole so we're passing today.  The new season just started so we'll have other opportunities.

@kate2357 Our stucco is tan and the new siding will be navy with white trim with no shutters.  The door will be fiberglass with a wood look finish.  Door hardware and lighting will be black.
