Yum DH just made some oatmeal chocolate chip walnut cookies. I have been waiting a long time. LOL!!!

We had bbq chicken sandwich with corn on the cob made in the air fryer last night. Having leftovers tonight.

Now DH is trying to charge me $1 per cookie?

Pork chops, asparagus and a salad.  Trying to limit some desserts.  Maybe mandarin oranges.

I'm leaving this week for a visit with my best friend in Colorado and I won't be here for Father's Day.  So, today I've planned a faux Father's Day and I'm making barbeque style ribs (in my oven), chicken thighs on the outdoor grill, potato salad and baked beans, with a strawberry layer cake for dessert. My kids never eat dessert, so it will be DH's responsibility to finish off the cake while I'm away.

Wow!  I love to bake but I don't think I've EVER baked that many things in one or two days!  Reveal parties crack me up... in my day, the big reveal happened in the hospital room when the baby arrived, lol.

You and Jack are truly blessed with a remarkable family. Does he have a private room? I would think you are making some people quite envious!

After an extended dry spell, thank The Lord we shoud be getting rain today, starting in about a half an hour or so.  We're leaving around 3:00 to attend a concert this evening but it can rain all day as far as I'm concerned.

Lunch will be:

Grilled Sirloin Steak

Sauteed Mushrooms

Roasted Asparagus

Wedge Salad

Re: What's cooking in this month of June?

All of you ladies are giving me an appetite for ribs, steaks & chicken bbq! Going to be a rainy day here but DH & DS will be at the grill doing ribs & steak. I made a potato salad & will do baked beans. Ice cream and cookies for dessert later.

@house_cat, Have a nice trip!

Trucker daughter is home for a week, so the menu for today is oven baked cube steak and gravy, mashed potatoes, peas, and rolls.  Chocolate cake for dessert.
