Re: What's cooking in this month of June?

Cooked a ribeye and a small steamer bag of potatoes/peppers/snap peas.  We shared the steak.  Wow dinner was on the table in under 15 minutes.

@Harpa

I admit I have done that and more than once. It didn't hurt anything...except my pride.  Lol.

You all are making me very hungry with all the delicious food you're making. And I always wanted a pool in our backyard...so @Pooky1 I am very envious of your pool going up.

I made a seafood salad with Naan bread to take over to rehab. Also made a fruit compote w/ fresh berries and bananas.

I'm trying a new recipe today, something I tweaked from another recipe I saw online.

Chicken Bacon Ranch Zucchini Boats

Small Tossed Salad

Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding w/berries

ETA - the zucchini boats were a hit - easy, inexpensive and flavorful, and ingredients are usually on hand, except maybe the zucchini.  I will definitely be making them more often.   The serving size was pretty big so I decided to skip the salad

Good morning everyone. Jeanlouisefinch chicken bacon ranch zucini boats

Sounds interesting. I have made chicken bacon ranch pizza and thats really good to. Cloudy AND humid. Well last night I cooked the sweetpotato gnocchi and I made Alfredo sauce with mascarpone cheese.it was delicious. Today is going to be chicken mushrooms over rice. I'm looking now for a nobake dessert I'm leaning towards no bake peanut butter oatmeal cookies. Have a great day everyone.

Rainy day but no complaints. It is very dry so our lawns and plants are very happy.

Using our remaining chili for chili dogs. Made coleslaw and baked beans.

Tomorrow is grocery day and I am about empty here. There are many inspiring menus here in the Forum and so nice to see new posters. Thank you everyone for posting and giving me ideas for dinner!

@kate2357, Thank you for your updates. Hopefully Jack will be home very soon. You have made good plans and your precious family will be surrounding you both to help. Sending good wishes your way.
