What's cooking in Simmering September?

Hi all,

Posting from WV. Just a gorgeous day outside. Sun shinning mid-70's. Been sitting with coffee and DH on the back balcony. Listening to the rooster crowing, crows, squirrels arguing. Mountains in the distance with a light grey hazy. A good morning!

Have made chicken and noodles in the CE cooker. I had dinner here for 7 of us on Wednesday night. Fixed mashed potatoes with sour cream, cream cheese, and cream. Also had chopped cucumber, onion, tomato salad. Brownies with Symphony bars in the middle and Dr. Pepper cherry jello salad.

Will take chicken and dressing in CE cooker for the reunion. Also more cucumber salad too. There is always way too much food.

DIL and Son coming with 4 kids this afternoon. Will cook out tonight. Beef roast for lunch tomorrow, then big family dinner with lasagna, salad, bread etc. Saturday night. I don't have to bring anything for that.

Glad to hear that Crystal has power. Felt so bad for her. She went way too long without power.

Hope all is well.
