Re: What's Cooking this November - Thanksgiving Time

Made eggs with spinach for dinner. Delicious! Thank you @mousiegirl. Also threw some corn in my tomato sauce beans so I got it all in. Smiley Happy

Re: What's Cooking this November - Thanksgiving Time

Good morning one and all. No big things going on in the kitchen last night - cleaned out the Fridge, now it is time to start over in filling it up again. Nothing like leftovers however - almost always enjoy them.

Got rather warm yesterday - about 85 -  but right now I am shivering - do not believe today will be as warm. Woke up tired so that is not a good thing with two little rambunctious ones. LOL.

Have a very good day - may finally fix that spaghetti I have been thinking about off and on. Easy to do and always good.

Re: What's Cooking this November - Thanksgiving Time

Had a super easy dinner to fix but a good one. Had those chicken tenders soaked in sweet and sour sauce - prepackaged and very very good. Also had tater tots filled with onions - yes!!! and last go with was macaroni salad - all in all it was easy to fix and was also tasty.

Hope one and all had a good day.

Re: What's Cooking this November - Thanksgiving Time

Am lucky, I have a baby sitter for the little one this morning so I can attend the last breakfast meeting of Stonecroft Ministries. They are a marvelous group but this will be their final meeting. I understand they will continue with their help for women who wind up with nothing at all and that is a blessing to hear. Am sorry to hear there will be no more get togethers yet hopefully this will help them as attendance was dropping for sure and perhaps they will find it easier to obtain money without paying out for all the extra stuff. They always have amazing baskets available and things like that. To put together those baskets takes time and dedication and every basket I have seen has top of the line things in it - great gifts and couple times I won a basket and divided up the stuff - made great gifts for sure. It will be held at Bob's Big Boy right around the corner from me - YEAH!! It was always held in Redlands so that will make it easy. This afternoon Leah's paternal grandparents will be coming up to visit her - they have not seen her in several months.

I keep saying the Slow Cooker is the best thing invented - I can still cook very good meals without standing over a stove for hours - that has become difficult to do. Now at this point am trying to figure out what to put in that slow cooker.. Probably a roast with some peppers, an onion of course and who knows what else - go withs are easy to figure out.

Hope one and all have a marvelous day! Eat well of course.

Re: What's Cooking this November - Thanksgiving Time

Thanks Preds - and you got the timing right for this Sunday. LOL.

I DID fix a roast in the slow cooker - and added delicious fresh green beans. Of course it cooked with a sweet onion. Had potatoes as a go with - baked in the oven. Healthy meal for sure.

Hope everyone got the time right to greet this new day.
