Like you said Mousiegirl - my checks were just sitting there in a bunch of stuff I had gone thru several times. LOL. Whew.

Just saw on TV Gordie Howe passed away. He was an awesome Hockey player and seems to me he played forever!! What an athlete.

flbettyboop and Preds, loved the pictures you both posted - just great.

Very humid and stuffy last night until about 1 or so in the morning. Way too early for that to be happening - but right now I am sitting here with my Slanket around me. In a few, that too will change. Found it hard to to to sleep, even the little one was a tad warm. An AC person yesterday was planning to install a central air system in a neighbor's home. He said this summer will probably be our worse ever - did NOT want to hear that. It is the humidity which gets to me, and like I keep saying, wish the DRY air would return. Sigh.

Again, no cooking last night. Just warmed over a couple things, had watermelon, and also some fruit cups and popcorn was added to Ricky/s menu. LOL. The little one ate very well, her regular food.

Stay cool everyone and be sure and eat well - don';t think we forget to do that.

Last night I finally, cooked a regular meal. Had pork roast, mashed potatoes and sweet peas - was good!!!

Another very very chilly morning. Can you imagine? Brrrr.

Evening, great weather, cold front came in with no rain, so from the 90's to 70, I can live with that.

@Winifred OOH pork roast, my favorite

tonite I'm putting leftover fried chicken wings in the air fryer, which does an excellent job of heating & crisping (is that a word?) so it's not gourmet but will suit me.

don't know about tomorrow as DD is here so I guess I'll cook

Still have some roast in the Fridge - I had a sandwich for lunch, yummy for sure. So enough for others and a few other things in there - to each his own.

by the way, it did get a tad warm.
