Unfortunately I was right about Ricky. He woke up way too early yesterday and had a super difficult time until about 2 in the afternoon. We did manage to get his hair cut at the barber shop but the minute he got out of that chair - he was off and running again. Sure wish I could get to the bottom of his frustrations. He had a long nap - way too long - and I could not get him to sleep again until about 12:30 a.m. Yep, that is after midnight. Sure hope he sleeps in this morning. This is hard on him and really hard on this old lady - love him to death however.

Well last night was the weekly clean out the Fridge night - we did good but boy howdy my Fridge sure looks empty. Not only does it look empty it IS empty. Even the Crispers are about cleaned out. Guess I need to stock up but am slowing down a bit on that lately.

Comfort food at its best for us tonight; fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, and peas. One of my favorite meals!

Last night, I had leftover pinto beans in their own sauce and leftover rice, so I heated the rice, put it in the bottom of a large bowl, added shredded mixed cheese, topped with beans ( added sauteed kielbasa chunks to the beans) and topped with tomatoes, onions, more cheese, and avocado, DH said it was great.

I had cooked the beans from scratch for refried beans, but they didn't turn out well, think the beans were too old, so I put them back in the slow cooker the next day and cooked until softer, still not my usual fantastic beans, so next time, I will cook them as I always have, in an enormous pot, takes all day, but they turn themselves into refried beans, so thick and creamy.

I gardened all day yesterday, weeding and pruning, and it was wonderful, except that today, my legs are very sore from all of the bending, stretching, and pulling. Today is cold and grey, maybe rain later, but I doubt it.

I found a small pig planter sitting on top of the soil in an area I was weeding, so decided he needed to be on the deck. I picked it up and turned it over to dump the dirt, don't know why, could have done it later on, but thank goodness I did, because out flopped a large lizard, startled me causing a yelp, and a fast exist, piggie is still where I found him, lol.

I had warmed over eggs, veggies and sausage - originally was a breakfast platter - grilled - and it was good. For desert had a very sweet and fully laced with sugar, etc for dessert - a creamy roll bought at the store. What can I say?

Rained all day yesterday - just miserable!

What is going to be fixed today - have not a clue. Have a good day one and all

good evening everyone. glad to see everyones eating well. we just has pasta meatballs .allways yummy. maria wrote more menus so we know what were having for dinner until middle of june.and shes nervous because shes going in for surgury for her kidney stones again. this time there going in thru her back to get what they cant get the other way. she will be in hospital for easter. and were getting another nor easter monday night and thru tuesday. hope everyonr has a great week.

No cooking here this weekend as the fridge is full of leftovers after cooking for my trucker daughter for 3 days. Still trying to finish off the last of the chili, pulled pork, potato salad, and a few pieces of fried chicken, before I cook anything else.

.good day everyone. bright and sunny today after yestaudays snowstorm. we got 14 inchs.and next week there could be another snowstorm. so over it. ready for spring. just leftovers from monday night.today maria is making a chicken meal in crock pot.thank you you everyone for well wishes to maria. hope everyone
