No cooking in my kitchen tonight.   We spent our day at the VA clinic, and are exhausted.  Made a quick run thru Taco Bell for taco salads, and both of us are firmly planted in our recliners now.

@Pooky1  First, how is Maria doing, pain free, I hope.

Here are my pups.  The blond is a Golden Yorkie, I think, and the male white dog is a terrier mix, poodle for sure as he has curly fur, which can turn into little cords if I am not watchful, always on his back feet jumping, tried to train him not to, but he can't help himself, lol, so I know it is inbred such as with poodles and a few others.  The picture on the cot is over three years old, the single of the male is more recent, he has changed physically the most since I adopted at nine months four years ago.

mousiegirl there so adorable. we have a morkie. shes 6 years old and very sweet.  maria is better with stent now finally out but still gets pain from some stones still in there. in a couple weeks there doing a more evasive surgery where they make a small dime size cut in her back and going in that way and doctor can get everything. it requires 2 nights in hospital. she said if it gets everything out  then its worth it. thanks for asking.

Just cleaned out the last of our leftovers in the fridge and have it in simmering away as soup.   I browned a box of beef rice a roni, added my leftover beef roast, cooked onions, and beef gravy, 2 cans of diced tomatoes, spiced it up and it’s very tasty if I do say so myself.

good afternoon everyone. sounds good red top.maria is making a big pan of minestrone soup. were exspecting a noreaster snow storn tomorrow. some people in this area hasnt got there power back from fridays storm.hope everyone stays safe and has a great day.

Went to Aldi's late afternoon yesterday and got one of their enormous Supreme Pizza's - they are so very good and so very inexpensive. Cannot remember if it is 18 inch or 16 inch but it cost only $6.49 - cannot beat that and it is a lot of good eating. Even it does not last long in this house. I was tired and Davey's Dad was here helping me with an outside door in the carport so in addition to him it was Davey and Ricky - the little girl was at Sherry's after being here most every day for a week - but had things to do with Ricky and it is impossible for me to take both little ones when there is a special thing for only one of them. I DO need more help but am having a difficult time in find any. Oh well, we are surviving.  Course when I go to Aldi's I always find something else to buy. LOL. Love that store.

Not as cold this morning as most mornings - does this mean that perhaps the frigid cold is leaving us? Sure hope so. Ricky woke up earlier and I groaned as that usually means he will be a bearcat as he did not go to sleep as early as he usually does - but hopefully he is back to sleep. Uncle Davey handed him his (Ricky's) I Pad before leaving to catch his first bus to school and he has been quiet ever since. Am NOT going to poke my head in there and look. LOL.

I plan to make some new recipes, including an Indian Butter Chicken dish in the Instantpot I found at two sleevers dot com. I normally don't like Indian food but this is one I'm willing to try! Also found a recipe for Radiatore with Spinach, Pastry Puff Pizzas from various sources.

Today it will be pasta with steak cubes and marinara, bread, and fruit cocktail.

Chili and grilled cheese sandwiches for us on this cold, snowy day.   Flurries all day, but no accumulation- -yet.

good morning everyone. red top we had grilled cheese for lunch yeatauday and last night maria made pineapple chicken in the crock pot over coconut rice.yum.rain changed to snow last night like 730 . got a couple of inches of  heavy wet snow.hope everyone has a great safe day.
