we never liked the heat but having ms makes it feel worse. im writing the recipe. its long. the name is teriyaki burgers.     1/4 cup ketchup.  2  tbsp soy sauce.  1 tbsp brown sugar. 1 tbsp. crushed pineapple.  1.5 tsp minced gingeroot. 1 minced garlic clove. .  half tsp olive oil.  the above ingredients is for the sauce.          next part is for burgers.   1egg white slightly beaten.  1/3 cup bread crumbs  half onion  chopped.  2 tbsp crushed pineapple.  1, 5 lb hamberger.  .     . combine all sauce ingredients and set aside.   in a large bowl combine hamberger egg white bread crumbs onion crushed pineapple and 3 tbsp of sauce mixture. shape into 6 pattys. when cooking burgers base with remaining sauce.  let me know when you make it how you like them. you should receive rave reveiws from them. as burgers or a meatloaf.

@Pooky1  Thank you for the recipe, I will use ground turkey since that is the ground meat I always use, should be delicious, love pineapple.  Costco sells sausages with pineapple, my favorite sausage, aside from Italian sweet.  The skin is like that of a great hot dog, get a nice pop, and the pineapple in them, when cooking in a frying pan, gives them a fabulous caramelized coating, in fact, these are my hot dogs, don't buy hot dogs.  I get different sausages for DH, cheese and bacon, etc.

[ Edited ]

Very hot yesterday, but it is supposed to cool down a bit this week, then hot again.  I spent most of the day hand watering and sprinkler watering, no more sprinkler for a week or more, but hand watering is every other day unless it is scorching hot.

This past week was pasta with meat sauce from the freezer, steak tacos with grilled steak from the freezer, and the last of the refried beans, will have to make more this week before the real heat hits here, leftover pesto pasta, and last night potstickers.

Tonight, It will grill butterflied pork tenderloin, served on a toasted baguette painted with extra virgin olive oil and a mix of the salt, pepper, and granulated garlic.  I mix this, and keep it in one side of the salt keeper, with kosher salt in the other side, it can be used for any meat/fish, etc.  It is the easy way to make a faux garlic bread, but when I really want garlic bread, of course I mince the garlic in olive oil and butter, may do that tonight instead of the faux.  A green salad with Roquefort, tomatoes, and cucumbers to go with it.

@Pooky1  It was a little humid this week, but mostly dry heat and I hope it stays that way, humidity is a killer for me, and unusual here, but with the weather changing all over, this is one result.
