Re: What's Cooking in January 2017

[ Edited ]

Been a super hectic day - have only had time for breakfast today. That is NOT  good.Am so very tired but hopefully I will work up the energy to go and find something to eat. Kids and Davey ate well however, just have not had time for myself. LOL.

Enjoyed the sunshine today - no rain - but very chilly - winds were kicking up.

Hope all had a great day.

Today is Freddies birthday.  We are celebrating at the Back Fence (among friends).   She had an eye appt so probably will have to sniff out the goodies.   She can just sit and enjoy the "many" candles on the cake. Lol. Everyone is welcome.  Bring food, especially banana bread.

Whoop de do BD party for sure!!! Glad to see you here Betty.

Tossed some tater tots, sweet onion, baby carrots, cut up chicken breasts and peas in the WOK - also added some garlic. It was super delicious may I add.

Freezing cold out here today - but beautiful California sunshine.

Hope you all make it to the Back Fence for party time.

Occasionally eggs are great for supper - or dinner, depending on which word you use. Had an omelet, fried potatoes with pepper and onions and WW toast. Nothing wrong with that at all.

Hope all had a great day. It was gorgeous here - not toasty warm but actually was outside with only my sweater on - hung my clothes on the line. Still would have liked it a tad warmer but the wind did not blow so there is no complaining from me.

@Winifred  The other night, I made a frittata, great for easy prep, with mushrooims, broccolini, onion, herbs, and two cheses, whatever I could find in the frig.,  DH loves eggs.  I am not much for any eggs except sunny side up, poached, and stuffed. Smiley Happy
