@spix, I'm so very sorry for your loss.  Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Re: What's Cooking in April (no fooling)

Love your greeting Preds. Hope things are well with you.

Soushi, Spix, thinking of you and yours still.Chilly morning but suppose to be in the high 70s today - sure hope so.

I actually made homemade spaghetti last night - very very good. And whooppee, did NOT burn the garlic Texas Toast.

Hope one and all have a very good day - it will be yet another busy one for me - lot of time on the Freeways. Have gotten to where I detest that.

Re: What's Cooking in April (no fooling)

Did not get as warm yesterday as predicted. Also things stayed super damp all day - what little grass we had was wet and yet there was no rain.Today 80 is predicted - we shall see. Unfortunately we have very very high winds predicted and of course yours truly will be on the Freeways again. Sigh.

Got lazy again yesterday for dinner - was just too tired at days end to stand at that stove. Yep, used those frozen "things" again. I saw these "new" individual frozen foods at the store and they were on sale for 79 cents each - could not resist at that price. Everyone but me was happy - I like my fresh veggies, etc but just not up to it. Had pizza snacks, Davey loved them. I ate some Fettuccine Alfredo and it was very good I must admit. Others had spaghetti. Have no clue what will happen for dinner tonight as I will be once again moving around a lot. Does it ever stop?

Hope one and all have a good day.

Re: What's Cooking in April (no fooling)

Love the greeting for the day Preds. Where on earth do you find all those cute things.

I am really cold this morning, yet it is suppose to really warm up - we shall see. Yesterday was another very busy day running all over.

Am going to fix a roast for dinner - probably mashed potatoes and collards as go withs. Nope, not probably, a definite.

Just have one major thing on my platter - picking up a friend and we are heading to the church on Bryant Street for an Italian lunch. Love their monthly senior lunches - always good and everyone is so cheerful and nice.

Hope one and all have a good day.

Soushi, we miss you but understand. Just want you to know thoughts and prayers continue your way.
