@Soushi24

I am profoundly sorry for your loss

Re: What's Cooking in April (no fooling)

Had a lot of running around to do yesterday but managed to toss some boneless chicken breasts in the slow cooker with a big red bell pepper and dry ranch dressing - puts a good flavor in the meat. No one was around for dinner so just put the chicken in the fridge for dinner tonight - will fix something to go with it later. I wish they would tell me ahead of time if they plan to be absent at dinner time - takes a lot of my energy AND $$ to prepare a meal with no one here. Sigh.

Rained most of the night and more is predicted for today. Have to take Davey to school and I usually go straight to exercise from there. Not sure I will do it this morning as my hips and legs are really aching. Super rare when they ache as much as they are doing this morning. Bottom line is I may not go as I do not want to cause damage and you can do that.

Hope one and all have a great day.

Soushi, I continue to think of you and offer up prayers.

Re: What's Cooking in April (no fooling)

Morning, kind of dreary here today but we're supposed to have good Spring weather the rest of the week

Monday nite my Mom passed away, she was 99 just 9 days shy of 100, we were so looking forward to the "party" but it was not to be, I guess it was her time, peacefully in her sleep so that is a good thing.  Her wish was cremation with no wake/funeral so that is what's being done, my sister will be in town when her therapy for the broken wrist is finished & we'll plan something for then.

Haven't done much cooking so @Winifred yours sounds good  lol

@Soushi24, hope you're managing, drop by when you feel up to it

Spix, so very sorry to hear about your Mom. Nothing I can say will truly help but remember she is happy now and she will have her BD at her heavenly home. Bless you and yours.
