@hellie jo  I am totally stealing that for tonight.    I bought the perfect Italian bread loaf yesterday.

Made shredded chicken tacos yesterday for lunch with a vegan spread nd it was really good!

It’s just lettuce and onions, covered with hot oil and vinegar dressing.   

I grew up with it being garden leaf lettuce and green onions, with hot bacon grease and vinegar dressing, but now I make it with head lettuce, a little Wesson oil and vinegar.

Now I really want liver and onions, mashed pototaes and peas.  Please fry the onions in bacon grease.  Break the bacon up and put on top of the liver and  onions!

Removed the bone from yesterday’s ham and added it to my instapot with October beans for a very yummy supper with cornbread.

I am concerned about @Winifred.  I miss reading her posts.  Winifred has not posted here since April 4th.  I will send up a prayer asking for her well-being during this pandemic.
