Re: What kind of a cook are you?

[ Edited ]

I believe I am a skilled cook because I am always asked to bring foods I served to guests and friends to Greek Church pot luck luncheons, Greek festivals & other religious Church festivals, and Church bake sales, etc. I am also asked to join in and prepare other foods too.

I've posted many tried and true recipes on this and the former QVC bb's for many years, and thoroughly enjoy posting recipes, giving tips and extending myself for questions, or prep a*ssistance relative to recipes I posted.

I also prepared foods for the needy, and felt quite blessed, to have been able accomplish that.

I credit all my creative prep and cooking skills to my beloved family, and our three generations of Greek women and men, and Greek American women and men.....Great Greek Grandparents, Greek Grandparents, and Greek American Parents.

I believe from my own experience to be an exceptional chef/cook a person needs to really love being around food and being creative, as well as thorough in all aspects of safe kitchen prep, creativity, cooking and serving.

A person should also derive great pleasure in serving various foods, as well as creating interesting foods to serve.

Both my beloved deceased Husband, and current Husband loved/love good food and were quite accomplished relative to preparing, cooking, baking, and serving food.

We always enjoyed/enjoy hearing that the food was delicious, and felt humbled, as many also asked for the recipes.

(We believe that is the highest compliment anyone can receive, and are very humbled and thankful to be able to also share our food and skills with so many people, who also enjoy exceptional well prepared and delicious cuisines).
