5:00 or 5:30 PM. That's early I know, but we are retired seniors, and I mainly prepare dinner only for my hubby. I'm a grazer and eat small amounts all day long rather than a larger sit-down meal. Husband gets up at 5 AM so has his breakfast at that time and his lunch about 10:30, so he is good and hungry for dinner by 5 PM. He's a big guy who works out at the gym daily, and he's one of those lucky few who loses 2 pounds if he skips dessert! I still prepare the large dinners I made when we were raising our 3 children because he needs the calories to hold his weight; only now we just eat earlier so that I can get out of the kitchen and enjoy the evening.
