I don't like candy that is mostly corn syrup..like jelly beans, candy corn, marshmallows, gummy bears, peeps, Three Musketeers, Milky Way, taffy or licorice or twizzlers.  I call this stuff junk candy.  

I love very dark chocolate plain or covering nuts, fruits or coconut and maybe some caramel.

When I was a kid, my dad would mix Eagle brand sweetened condensed milk with softened butter & spread it on bread for a sweet treat.  Never cared for it myself

Is that a fact ? Interesting, never heard of that before. Talk about a cholesterol nightmare ! LOL I switched to Can't Believe It's Not Butter back when the Dr. told me to make changes.

Any kind of taffy is a no.  Someone mentioned Mary Janes...yuck!  I remember trick-or-treating when I was young and my brother and sister and I would hate getting those in our treat bags...along with BB bats...anyone remember those?  They were rectangles of taffy on a stick and they were hard as rocks!!! And very artificial tasting too! 

I also hate black licorice and gumdrops.
