@momtochloe last year Lou Malnatti's opened a carry out store about 3 blocks from me... delicious deep dish.  We also have a Palermos about 2 miles away in Frankfort.  You are talking about some of my favorites, you might also be familar with Fox's pizza another good one.  There are to many great ones to list.

@Chicagoan ah yes Fox's . . . delicious . . . goodness it's been decades, thank you for the walk down culinary lane! . . . Smiley Happy

Hi @momtochloe and @Chicagoan,

You both are making me hungry for some Chicago-style pizza! Smiley Happy Heart

I forgot about Palermo's pizza.

My family used to like to order from Father & Son's. They are a well known Italian restaurant in the city.

We used to get their thin crust pizza fairly often. Smiley Happy

Freschetta brick oven crust only. I don't eat pizza much.
