I use yellow onions to cook with. Onion rings are so tasty, but I only eat them in restaurants.

Vidalias, rough chopped and browned in butter.

Red onions, minced, thrown over green salad.

Spanish onions in casseroles.

White onions when I need a good cry.

Pearl onions with fresh sweet peas & grilled salmon.

Green onions to munch while out in the garden.

Local store was selling 3# onions cheap, because the onions were little bigger than a golf ball. I bought a couple of bags, trimmed them all, and spent the afternoon grilling them.

After they cooled I bagged them for the freezer in groups of three. Had those little grilled onions as a side dish thru the winter.

I like red or sweet onions to cook with, will not eat an onion raw.
