Re: What do you want in the next generation air fryer?

I would like to see a more attractive appearance.  I leave mine out (otherwise I would never use it).   Needs to be compact too as most people don't have tons of room.  Maybe shaped more like a toaster oven?  Must come in choice of colors including white.

Re: What do you want in the next generation air fryer?

At the moment my dream AF is Paula Deen's 10.5 qt "oven' design but bigger!  I would like a couple more inches in height to fit my own baking pans/dishes on the racks and a bit wider would not be unwelcome either. Woman Happy   I believe that these modifications also  would help make the roitisserie pieces much more useful.  I would not mind a larger footprint for this item as it would replace my current area fryer and toaster oven.

I wouldn’t like a stainless steel basket. I can’t inagibe what you’d cook in such a thing that wouldn’t stick. I do the looks of the Paula Deen ceramic models.

Hey pooky1, this may be wishful thinking on my part lol but I have a feeling that we soon will see a V.2 from Paula or from Todd English or maybe Cook's Companion will release their own new fryer in the oven style.  Evine has had Paula V.1 @ its November TSV price for 3 or 4 weeks since late December so I think they are trying really hard to clear inventory.

Maybe Cooks' Essentials will take a shot too!.  The more manufacturers that come to the party, the better our selections -- and hopefully their prices! -- will be.

It definitely would be great to have one of these at home when the weather warms back up so I will be staying on the hunt!  Woman Happy

I surmise that Wolfgang will have one as the TS during his HSN visit on Saturday.

Not sure of the specifics, but his electrics have been of good quality for me.
