I thought they looked nice. One of my best skillets I got at walmart . It's half aluminum for light wgt and the other half is cast iron.

I like the combo of these 2 elements.  No way would I lift around those real heavy expensive pieces. Heavy empty can't imagine what they would weigh full of soup, etc.   take 2 people to handle 'em. LOL

if it's anything like the new HA cooks essentials then they'll be fine. Ordered a clearance replacement set certainly not heavy like my original set but work just as well

i am looking for new cookware and want the light weight but with the type of non stick that doesn't have the nasty chemicals in it. i want to use metal utencils as well. and i don't need ANY more skillets or dutch ovens---have too many of those, just need sauce pots. i have some curtis stone dura pan that i use everytime that i love. would buy just those if i could find them.

I bought a 9 qt. Cook's Companion Perfect Weight Proaster from Evine recently & I'm surprised how much I've used that thing.  A 9 qt in cast iron roaster would be way too heavy, but the cast aluminum that the Proaster is made from makes this pan manageable even full of food.
