It's not my taste.

Like most of you, I'm not very impressed with the program either. Too much talking and most of the time too many talking at once and it was almost like they were trying to outtalk and outshout each other. I want to see them talk the recipe and make it!! I will give it another try though because I am eager to see something new. Their programming lately is very bad, and Guy's Diners, Drive-ins, & Dives is monopolizing our cable network up here so bad that it's sickening! He's on night after night after night, and I am hoping the network will come up with some new fresh shows. This might or might not be one. Time will tell.

I enjoyed it, but maybe because I like all of the participants. I don't care for the Chew.

I saw it for the first time yesterday when I tried to watch Ina. I would not watch it again - too many people all talking at the same time. I want Ina back!

sunny used to have her own show years ago. she cooked a meal and was by herself. I really enjoyed watching her. then the show disappeared and last year I saw a few of the shows from as far back as 2011. I wondered what happened. her shows were good old-fashioned cooking and she acted like an everyday person cooking a meal. guess that wasn't good enough for the FN. so, she needs to go back to the style of show she had before. I cannot stand any kind of show where a lot of people are talking over each other, or in the case of Susan Graver, only she and the host trying to talk at the same time.

Give me Julia Child, The Galloping Gourmet, Yan Can Cook, Justin Wilson, or The Frugal Gourmet any day over all of this cra# they are showing these days. These shows centered on cooking and entertainment. There was usually just one person, who spoke coherently and in a normal voice. No frantic rushing to complete the recipe and no one was showing clevage or grinning non-stop, no one screaming and trying to out-talk someone else. Granted, there was a little bit of frantic entertainment with Yan and The Galloping Gourmet but it was enjoyable rather than annoying. Justin was a little repetitive with his comments but that was his schtick.
I like to watch Ina. She is calming and enjoyable to watch and I like Trisha Yearwood's show. I like Ree Drummond too. Some have stated that Ree smiles too much but if she weren't smiling, we wouldn't like that. I can't watch any of the others. They are too phoney or frantic. They make my blood pressure rise so I don't watch. No way I can watch the ones that have so many people talking at once.

I love "The Chew", I DVR it daily. I will give the Kitchen a few more viewings, but, I don't think they have the chemistry like The Chew has.
