Grilled with just a little mustard.

I attended a parochial school that didn't have a cafeteria, so we brought our lunches every day.

Except for Wednesday: You could place an order on Tuesday and they brought in hot dogs and potato chips on Wednesday. I can still smell them coming down the hallway with our orders.

They were boiled hot dogs and plain chips, but we all loved them. Something different, I guess.

I am originally from Chicago, so I love Chicago dogs...yellow mustard, onions, neon green relish, tomatoes, dill pickle, sport peppers, and celery salt. Yum!!

I am a minimalist! I love just ketchup. Once in awhile I will use sweet pickle relish instead. Occasionally, we will get hotdogs from this little stand and I will get chili sauce, onions - the works!

Gulden's spicy brown mustard and sauerkraut on an all-beef hotdog - never really had it any other way. Would be open to trying sauteed onions and/or cheese.

When I was a kid, my mom used to slice up hotdogs and put in Split Pea soup too. Mmmmmmm.

I like them best grilled on a grilled buttered bun with cheese and bacon. Sauerkraut or plain also.
