Breaded chicken breasts, coleslaw and green beans.  It was really good.  I made a banana bread too.  Just came out of the oven.

We finally got out for a walk yesterday and got stuck in some flurries that were a little sleety too.  It’s actually warmed up some so snow has been melting and turning to slush.  The road was slippery in spots but we made it.  We’ll try again today.   

I have boneless skinless chicken breasts thawing.  DS and the grandkids will be here later.  I’m making Chicken Bacon Broccoli Ranch Casserole, maybe a small side salad.  The kids love pomegranate arils/seeds so I picked some up at Costco for them.

Cold and snowy here. We got about 3 inches overnight and another 6-10 inches expected by tomorrow morning. Tonight we are having homemade vegetable beef soup and a small salad with Italian dressing and bleu cheese crumbles. Have a great day everyone.

Just put in our weekly grocery order.  Tomorrow night DH will pick up a roast chicken which we will have with mashed potatoes, gravy and cranberry sauce.  Saturday we will have French dip sandwiches.  Sunday we are having friends over to watch football and celebrate my birthday which is Tuesday.  We will be having 7 layer dip and margaritas.  Monday DD will be making chicken cutlets.  Tuesday we are going to a local Italian restaurant for my birthday.  Wednesday is fend for yourself night at our house since DH goes to his blues jam that night.  Thursday we will have meatloaf, au gratin potatoes and a vegetable.

Teriyaki Madness had a BOGO special today, so teacher daughter brought my supper today.  I enjoyed the chicken and vegetables, but ate very little of the rice.  I will feed it to my chicken friends on their next visit.

It's been a while since I've made the chicken bacon ranch casserole.  It really hit the spot.  I offered DS the leftovers, as usual, but he said their fridge is loaded and turned me down.  I'm glad he did!  DH and I will have it again today.  This afternoon it's another long drive to our destination.  We're attending The Collingsworth Family Christmas program.  We've seen it a few times already but it's just so good.  

I have been saving large boneless pork loin that I picked up on sale at Costco several months ago.  I just took it out of the freezer to thaw and will be making a ton of pulled pork this weekend, or Monday.
