Re: What are Your Recommendations for Cookware?

I love my Kirkland brand of hard anodized from Costco.  I've been using it for years and it looks brand new.  I cook 6 days a week.

See if you can find a link to the All Clad VIP Factory Sale.  One is going on now for February.  I have bought a number of things and never been disappointed.

Sorry I can't post a link

Re: What are Your Recommendations for Cookware?

I have three pieces of Curtis Stone that I baby.  Hand wash, special cupboard.  Like a shrine.  The rest of my cookware I beat the heck out of.  It also goes into the dishwasher.  Most of it is Circulon, some hard anodized and one piece of stainless.  I did purchase five pieces of Green Pan on lunchtime special.  That's after the pieces I bought DD for Christmas.  So far it has held up well, and I'm trying to be more careful, like not turning it up on high.  But they were so reasonably priced it won't be the end of the world if I ruin one.

[ Edited ]

Through the years I've used T-fal, Revere Ware and Iclad.

I sold all my iclad 2 months ago for more than I paid for it. I loved it but I am moving and out of the country and won't take it with me.

I have been using Ballarini, an Italian made since 1889 and I love it.
I purchase it online and only the sizes I want, you can purchase sets.
It's easy to clean and it's not too heavy.  Mine does not warp!

Re: What are Your Recommendations for Cookware?

Wow, just discovered that QVC website shows different sizes of  heavy Circulon baking sheets that have great reviews.  Really inexpensive prices!!

I have a very heavy old  Farberware 10x15 baking sheet that has always been my favorite go-to for roasting and baking meats or vegetables.  (I do line it with foil most of the time).  I have several other baking sheets that are OK, too, but the old one is my favorite.

It  looks like the Circulon on QVC  website is heavy, too, and the customers love it.

@BiggsE     America's Test Kitchen recommends   All-Clad D3 Stainless Cookware Set, Pots and Pans, Tri-Ply Stainless Steel, Professional Grade.  But they are expensive.

Re: What are Your Recommendations for Cookware?

For the non-stick pans I also recommend Curtis Stone brand.  Have used them since he first presented on HSN. Durable, safe cookware. Have been replacing my old non-stick pans with Curtis Stone when needed.

We also use and I recommend MPS brand. (Magnalite Professional Stainless Steel). I like SS for searing meats and making candy and jams.

You're right, you can't beat All-Clad. Yes it's expensive but the stainless steel is going to last forever. Watch for sales.

Re: What are Your Recommendations for Cookware?

I have had my stainless steel copper clad Revere Ware since we were married.  Not a minutes trouble.
