I have marshmallow fudge, seven layer cookies, pecan butterscotch bars. white chocolate with vanilla pretzels (I won't be able to get the vanilla chocolate next year), and an AMAZING chocolate raspberry chocolate cake from Whole Foods.  (Apparently, WF has an amazing bakery counter!!!!!).

Little amounts of each, but.........

@sunshine45 Here ya go!  Spray well, line the 9 x 13 with al foil leaving about a 6 in end on the narrow ends.  When cool, it lifts easily to a cutting board to cut into squares.  Top will shatter.  Ultra Yummy!!!

Butterscotch Bars

Preheat oven to 325 degrees

Line a 9 x 13 inch casserole with aluminum foil which should go past the ends about 8 inches.  The extra will be handles to lift the cooled block of cookies to cut.

Grease or spray pan and aluminum well.

4 Eggs

1  (16 oz) box light brown sugar

2    Cups Bisquick

2    Cups chopped pecans or walnut

1     6 oz  pkg. butterscotch morsels

1 teaspoon vanilla

Beat eggs with hand mixture until frothy.

Gradually beat in sugar until thick.

Stir in vanilla, biscuit mix, chopped nuts, and butterscotch morsels.

Spread into greased  9 x 13 in. pan.

Bake at 325 for 45 minutes.

Cool and cut.  Yield two dozen.

Re: What Sweets Do You Have Leftover From Christmas?

My brothers seem to think we won't have enough sweets. So they order boxes of stuff to be shipped to us.

So we have a Juniors Crumb Cherry Cheesecake and pecan kringle and raspberry kringle. And my husband went to a dairy and bought their egg nog. I thought I didn't like egg nog until I tried this. OH MY!

Three boexes of Ethyl M Liquor filled chocolates (actually more like 2 +) and a box of Ethyl M cherries in champagne (for New Year's Eve with friends).  All are my presents to me - I love these things even if they are expensive!

Re: What Sweets Do You Have Leftover From Christmas?

I bought the Beatrice Bakery Nut Ring (substitute "fruitcake").  After avoiding fruitcake for the past 25 years, I gave this one a try.  It wasn't terrible.  But I have concluded that I just do not like fruitcake.  Threw it away yesterday, after we picked around it for several days, then it just sat.

But I have my 2nd order of Harry & David Riviera Pears, so we are thrilled with this sweet treat!
