Which sources of proteins do you prefer, not eating necessarily for better nutrition?
I could easily eat some type of beef, steak, roast, chili, spaghetti, stew, toco salad, you name it. I do eat other types of protein for health, (LOVE a good, fresh shrimp coctail) but if I had a choice......no way!!!

Beans & lentils. I cook with many different spices so I think it's probably the spices I associate with the yumminess of the beans & lentils.
@ECBG I used to love, love, love shrimp....then one time it landed me in the ER in anaphylaxis. So please enjoy some for me! Happy Eating.

Tuna, chicken, beef, and beans.
I love bacon....but I know it has no redeeming qualities other than the "yummy" factor!...so I don't buy it!

@alicedee think of bacon as garnish, or a condiment.
It adds calories, aroma, color, texture, and certainly adds flavour, but no nutritional benefit.
So use it, but sparingly.

Egg whites, poached salmon or cod, buttermilk & greek yogurt, turkey, legumes, solid white albacore, cheeses.
An occasional pork tenderloin or jar of pickled herring.
Never a fan of beef.
Can't afford a decent lamb chop anymore.
