Costco's Tuxedo cake is so good, I was given it for my birthday and I ate the two leftover pieces for breakfast the next day (there's a reason I don't bring sweets in the house!). Aside of Costco Ben and Jerry's ice cream, especially Phish Food and Caramel Sutra. They're coming out with some new ones that look really good too, one's peanut butter with fudge brownie pieces.

Marie Callender's Banana Cream Pie, and also almost any of the maor brand cherry pies. Mrs. Smith's has a lot of cherries and the crust is really good.

@nyc1 wrote:I have 2 ... ELEGANT FARMER APPLE PIE .... OMG, better than home made! It's made in a brown paper bag in Wisconsin. The crust and filling are beyond delicious.... buttery with cinnamon and beautiful big apples. You heat it in the oven and the smell drifts through the entire house. If you ever have the chance to try an ELEGANT FARMER apple pie, please don't pass up the opportunity. You can definitly tell that this pie was not massed produced and has none of those awful chemicals that so many desserts now have.
On the coffee cake side.... we can get Grandma's of New England at one of our local supermarkets and I like their cinnamon walnut. I must say however, that the last one that I bought had less of the cinnamon ribbon inside of the cake than it used to have, which was disappointing. But it was still delicious.
@nyc1 Your apple pie really interests me. Is this an item you buy in a standard grocery store where you live? Do the apples crunch please?

@CrazyKittyLvr2 I'd love to try this store, but they're only in the north east!

Those Pepperidge Farms frozen cakes are an easy dessert. I'll but two when they are on sale. We get nine servings per cake. The deli at my grocery store sells squares of homemade tortes in a variety of flavors that we love for about $3 each, which I split into two servings.

@nyc1- I used to live about 40 miles from Elegant Farmer and would almost hyperventilate when I went through their bakery LOL!! I would eat lunch there too, it was so delicious, their deli was great. I would usually sit outside and eat. I'm in a different part of WI now, and miss that place.
The apple pie in a bag was awesome - it was a real homemade apple pie, no hard pale bland apple filling. I have never seen any apple pie in a bag like that outside of Elegant Farmer.
Thanks for reminding me of that place. They have all sorts of stuff going on there, including hay rides to go pick your own apples, train rides and more. Check out their website, elegantfarmer. com. It's easy to spend a day there.

@sissel- I don't get them much anymore, but when I would get the Pepperidge Farm coconut one, I would slice fresh strawberries over and around it - so impressive looking and good! Can even use for a quick company dessert.
