Re: What Is Your Favorite Breakfast?

My go to at home breakfast is ground turkey breast, scrambled egg, and fresh fruit.  Now if I'm out or having a splurge day, I love to have a chicken biscuit from Chick-fil-A, but that's a rare treat.  If I'm going to a nice brunch, I go for eggs benedict!

Re: What Is Your Favorite Breakfast?

My favorite breakfast is eggs over easy with crisp bacon, plus a buttered English muffin (and coffee).

However, my daily breakfast is a glass of OJ, a bowl of Cheerios with fresh raspberries and blueberries sprinkled with cinnamon.  Then a cup of coffee accompanied by 3 mini almond biscotti.  (I'm a creature of habit!!!)

Tee hee @IlliniGirl88 your mention of Chick-fil-A brought back memories of their delicious breakfast platter.  I had it once and it was literally my only meal that day it was so filling but scrumptious.  I recently moved and was thrilled to see there is one down the road by me, could be time for another all day breakfast platter . . . Re: What Is Your Favorite Breakfast?

Being from the South, we always had a big breakfast every day, and even though I am older and still live in the South, I love a big breakfast, but don't eat it but a couple of times a month. I love Cracker Barrel's breakfast----2 fried eggs, two biscuits, grits, two sausage patties, juice, and coffee (no gravy). At home a big breakfast is eggbeaters scrambled with fat free cheese, grits, two vegetarian sausage patties, a piece of whole wheat toast with apple butter. On regular boring days, I have a dry piece of toast and a cup of caffeine free coffee. It just depends on where I am and what's going on.

Re: What Is Your Favorite Breakfast?

I love scrambled mess - I think it is a regional Pittsburgh food. Ham, bacon or sausage, homefries, cheese, vegetables all cooked together with scrambled eggs. I usually get mine with just bacon , potatoes, onion & peppers & chedder cheese.Delicious.

When we were kids my Mom would make this without meat. Usually she used it as a meal to clean up stuff from the fridge. We loved it.

Re: What Is Your Favorite Breakfast?

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and I have some delicious recipes for breakfast casseroles, some have hashbrowns, sausage and or bacon, some have fruit, some are eggs and vegetables.

But I also like French Toast and Sausage, Eggs, Bacon, Jellied Toast (with homemade jelly) and freshly squeezed orange juice.

But then again I like yogurt & fruit, smoothies, it all depends on how I feel when I wake up.

Re: What Is Your Favorite Breakfast?

my favorite breakfast is the one my husband cooks on weekends. it's poached egg whites and turkey bacon, with pepper jack cheese, roasted pepper and artichoke bruschetta, on whole wheat english muffins. the turkey bacon is alternated with corned beef with lots of onions and garlic. 😋
