I'm changing my answer.  I was at Costco the other day and they were sampling Costco's house brand - Kirkland Beef Hot Dogs. The demo lady was cooking them in a little electric skillet and they were fantastic.

Living in Michigan it has to be Koegel Viennas.  They are the best and just a Michigan thing.

I was at a barbecue where they had Oscar Mayer, they really had a strong fake smoked taste.  I'd like to find a brand without such a strong fake smoked taste.

I am originally from the Jersey Shore and love both the Windmill and Max.

When ever we go back to visit we always make sure we get a hot dog from either place.  Yum!  Now I want 1 or 2!!!!  We bring a large cooler when we visit and always bring back the Windmill hot dogs.
