@BeccaLou wrote:My favorite hotdogs are grill master they have a lot less sodium.
Are you talking about the grill master hot dogs made by Ball Park? Or is this another company. Because BP Hotdogs have a ton of sodium the worst of all the hotdogs! 780mg of sodium!!

I live in Michigan - only two kinds (and I really don't like hot dogs much).
The best, and I mean the best are Kowalski's.
The second best is Koegel Vienna with natural casings.
I don't eat hot dogs unless they're those two.

I made an error in the name of the hotdogs I was saying that I purchase, they are called Grill Mans Black Angus uncured Beef Franks- they have 220 gr. of sodium per frank lowest I've ever see.They have no nitrates and are gluten free & soy free.And they are all natural, no artificial ingredients and have no prservatives.

They ARE the best! Originally from MI, now in FL. Haven't found any natural casings that compare.

@KKJ wrote:Does anyone else pay more for the hot dogs w/o the cancer-causing nitrates? They cost considerably more at the store but those are the only ones I buy anymore.
@KKJ I started buying these for my grandson, because the doctor's think the nitrites and nitrates might be a trigger for his migranes. We don't really eat any deli meat and don't have other processed meat very often, so not too worried about the cancer issues.

Here at the Jersey Shore it's;
Sabrett Windmill Natural Casing Hot Dogs (served at The Windmill - My Favorite)
or
Schickhaus hot dogs (served at Max's in Long Branch, NJ) love these too!

I but the best baby!! Living in Eastern NC I live a few miles from where we have the best little "red" hot dogs which everyone loves. I think they have finally made their way to VA so maybe one day you too will get to enjoy.
I'm talking about Bright Leaf Weiners.
